Hosting

I provide a tailored hosting service, including spam filtered email as standard. The amount of storage space and number of mailboxes are all arranged according to requirements.

Email can be accessed via a simple online interface or by downloading it to your computer. If you need FTP access to your website, details will be made available.

You are welcome to set up a hosting plan whether or not I have designed your website. You do not need to host with me if I do design your site, although I may require access to your host in order to upload a new website.

These are some of the basics about the hosting I provide. If you need to know anything more specific, please ask.

Servers reside in a professional, private and secure datacentre in London's Docklands.

All hosting is on CentOS 4 Enterprise Linux server with RAID and 4 x daily backups, with PHP 5.2.x and MySQL 5.1.x. Servers regularly report a 99.999%-100% uptime. FTP, SSL and subdomains are available.

Email comes in POP, IMAP and webmail (SquirrelMail) flavours. Spam filtering is enabled as standard on all email accounts, using the Mailfoundry service.
